StoneRidge Team Members Honored at 2025 Caring Hands Award Ceremony

We’re proud to announce that several dedicated team members from StoneRidge in Mystic, Connecticut, were recognized at the prestigious 2025 Caring Hands Award Ceremony on March 12, hosted by LeadingAge Connecticut at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville.

This meaningful honor celebrates our Nursing Aides who exemplify exceptional compassion, unwavering commitment, and outstanding skill in caring for our residents.

Selected by StoneRidge for their exemplary standards of care, our honorees received specially designed awards during the ceremony. Among the distinguished recipients were Tasha Johnson, CNA at Avalon Health Center, and Gertrude Tuazon, CNA at TopSAIL Assisted Living, StoneRidge Assistance-in-Living (SAIL) Program & The Cottage.

The event, which featured WFSB’s “Better Connecticut” Co-Host and Meteorologist Scot Haney as Master of Ceremonies, provided a festive setting to recognize these essential caregivers who serve as “the true heart and hands of caregiving” across Connecticut’s senior living communities.

StoneRidge is proud to be part of LeadingAge Connecticut, a statewide association of not-for-profit and mission-driven organizations dedicated to providing high-quality services and care for older adults through advocacy, education, and support.
