Wellness activities to support your active life.

StoneRidge residents lead active, engaged lives. Their interests are many and varied, spanning subjects from beer making and winemaking to painting and pollinator gardens. We support them in whatever activities bring them joy and fulfillment. In fact, we’ve created a program to help them do just that. Called HealthyLife® Services, it encompasses four categories of life enrichment that contribute to overall health:

Active Life – Participating in activities that you enjoy is essential to healthy aging. Just tell us what you’d like to do, and we’ll make it happen.

Well-Being – From preventive health screenings to assistance in obtaining health services, your well-being is our top priority.

Fitness – We offer a variety of classes to help you reach your personal fitness goals and feel your best.

Nutrition – From garden-fresh salads to catch-of-the-day seafood, healthy and delicious are always on the menu.

Our whole-person approach to wellness integrates eight dimensions of wellness with programs that support physical, social, emotional, intellectual, vocational, spiritual and environmental wellness, in addition to a continuum of health services provided on-site. Michael Langlois is Community Life Director at StoneRidge. He’s the driving force behind our social, environmental, vocational and spiritual wellness programs. With a background in theater, he has a talent for helping residents explore and develop their interests. He’s also known for his homebrewing skills.

Linda Hart, RN, Director of Residential Health serves as our Health and Wellness Navigator. Hart is your guide to any health services you may need. Medical appointments, changes in diet, home health services, counseling and emotional support — whatever you need — the Navigator will reach out to the right people and get it done. In addition, the Navigator coordinates transfers and paperwork for hospital stays so residents can focus on getting well. The Navigator also helps residents and family members understand their options and provides continuity of care through all levels of living at StoneRidge.

Tracey Randolph, the Wellness Director coordinates the physical and intellectual wellness programs at StoneRidge. With a background in neurology, kinesiology and therapeutic exercise, she brings breadth and depth of knowledge to the wellness program at StoneRidge. She’s also one of the very few senior living fitness trainers in the state to hold a certification from the National Institute for Fitness and Sport (NIFS). Her positive attitude and cheerful personality make her classes a favorite with residents.

“I can build personal fitness programs that fit your needs, and we can reevaluate those programs after three months and say, ‘You know what, you're doing great. Let's add something into the mix.’”
